Choosing Your View
You can switch between two presentation styles at the top of your search panel based on how you prefer to source:
Table View: The industry standard grid layout. Best for comparing multiple diamonds side by side across technical parameters.
Gallery View: A visual card layout. Best for scanning high-resolution diamond images, certificates, and video media prominently.
⚠️ Note: Gallery View only displays listings that include uploaded media assets. If a stone has no images or videos, it will not appear in this view, which may result in fewer total search results.
Spotting Recent Price Reductions (Price Drop Tag)
To help you identify genuine, motivated deals instantly, Rapaport Trade automatically displays a green Price Drop badge in the status column of qualifying listings. The tag shows the exact percentage reduction and the date the change occurred.
To prevent temporary price manipulation or artificial discounting, a listing must strictly meet these rules to receive the tag:
Parameter | Eligibility Requirement |
Shape & Size | Round diamonds only, 3.00 carats and below. |
Reduction Rate | Price must be lowered by 10% to 20% in a single adjustment. |
Price Stability | No price increases can occur during the previous 40 days. |
Tag Duration | Stays active for up to 20 days (removed immediately if the price is increased). |
Important: Secondary price drops within that 20-day window will not restart the expiration timer. The tag always expires based on the original qualifying reduction date.
Verifying Seller Reliability
Every listing clearly identifies the supplier so you can assess trading credibility at a glance:
Named Sellers: Displays the official company name, initials, and custom avatar.
Platinum Sellers: Marked with a premium platinum icon and a "Trusted & Recommended" label, highlighting verified top-tier trading partners.
Understanding Diamond Status Codes
Before contacting a seller or initiating an order, check the shorthand status code on the row to verify immediate availability:
G (Guaranteed): The stone is verified in stock and guaranteed available for immediate purchase.
STPS (Subject to Prior Sale): The diamond is available, but the seller reserves the right to close a sale if another buyer commits first.
M (On Memo): The diamond is currently out on memo with a prospective buyer and may not be immediately available.
