Cleaner Results, Less Clutter, More Clarity

Finding the right diamonds is now faster and more intuitive. Rapaport Trade has streamlined your search results by grouping identical or nearly identical listings from the same supplier into a single, expandable row. This cleaner layout eliminates clutter, allowing you to scan availability at a glance and dive into specific details only when you need them. It’s the same comprehensive access you rely on, now optimized for a more efficient browsing experience.

How Listings Are Grouped

Collapsible Search combines multiple similar listings from the same seller into one master row. Listings are grouped only when all of the following attributes are 100% identical: shape, size, color, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry, fluorescence, lab, and seller.

Diamonds from different sellers are not grouped. Diamonds with different details remain separate.

You still have access to the same diamond details and actions. They are simply organized in a cleaner way.

How Grouped Rows Help You

Grouped search results help you:

  • Scan results faster by reducing repeated rows

  • Compare sellers more easily without losing listing details

  • Open a group only when needed to see each diamond

  • Select a full group or individual diamonds, depending on what you want to do

This grouping reduces visual clutter and makes it easier to compare sellers’ offerings.

How to Recognize a Grouped Row

A grouped row is shown as a main row in the search results table. It has a blue bar on the left and a blue bar on the right. In the Status column, you can see how many individual items are contained within the group (for example, “3” or “7” items). This lets you quickly recognize where multiple identical listings have been combined.

The grouped row gives you a summary of the diamonds inside the group.

Expand a Grouped Row to view Individual Listings

To reveal the individual listings inside a group, click anywhere on the master row, including the dropdown arrow at the left.

  • The row will expand to show each listing within the group.

  • On the master row, you will see the average values for Avg Rap %, Avg $/Ct and Avg Total Price.

  • When expanded:

    • A subtle blue border appears around the group, and the rows inside have a light blue tint to indicate they belong to the same group.

    • Each individual listing appears in its own row, as before, with all listing-specific information intact.

  • The seller is not shown on each grouped listing row because it is already shown on the master row.

Group & Individual Diamond Actions

Actions such as contacting the seller, exporting, sharing, or other listing actions are available on the individual diamond rows.

To use these actions, first expand the grouped row. Then choose the action for the specific diamond you want.

This helps prevent actions from being applied to a full group by mistake.

Select All, a Group, or Individual Diamonds

Select All

Use “Select All” as you normally would to bulk-select listings.

When you select a master row, all listings in that group are automatically selected. This makes it easy to act on all identical listings from a seller at once.

NOTE: Select All now applies to the current section of Rapaport Trade’s infinite scroll, with a 250-item limit to ensure optimal performance for exports and inquiries. You can track your total selection count at the top of the page.

Select Individual Listings with a Group

Select a Group

If you click the master row checkbox, all listings inside the group become selected.

Scroll through Results

Instead of clicking through page numbers, search results now load as you scroll, and Rapaport Trade loads more listings automatically.

Page markers keep track of where you are in the results.

Note: Grouped diamonds stay together and are not split across page markers.

Common questions

Why do I see fewer rows in my search results?

Very similar diamonds from the same seller may now be grouped into one row. Open the grouped row to see each diamond.

What diamonds are grouped together?

Diamonds can be grouped when they are from the same supplier and key details match exactly, including shape, carat, color, clarity, lab, and finish characteristics.

Does the lowest price always appear first?

Not necessarily. Search results are not based only on the lowest price, and identical stones from the same supplier may now be grouped together.

Where did the individual listings go?

They are still there. Click the grouped row or expand arrow to view the diamonds inside the group.

Why does the price look different on a grouped row?

Grouped rows show average price values, including Avg $/Ct, Avg Total Price, and Avg Rap %. Open the row to view individual prices.

How do I select all diamonds in a group?

Select the checkbox on the grouped row. This selects all diamonds inside the group.

How do I choose only one diamond from a group?

Open the grouped row, then select the specific diamond you want.

Where did the page numbers go?

Search results now use infinite scroll. More results load as you scroll, with page markers to help you stay oriented.

How can I improve visibility for my listings?

If visibility is important for your business, speak with your Rapaport Trade representative about Platinum membership options. Placement in search results is not guaranteed.
