Your company profile is what other members see when they look at your listings, get a message from you or find you in the Member Directory. It takes a few minutes to complete and is one of the first things to do after you join.
Why your profile matters
Rapaport Trade members trade with companies they can check. A complete profile:
Shows who you are, with your logo and a description of what you trade
Builds trust, because members can see your address, website and trade organization memberships before they deal with you
Helps you get found, because your company can appear in Member Directory search
Makes it easy for buyers and sellers to reach you
An empty profile with no logo or description gives members very little to go on, especially if they haven't traded with you before.
Open your profile
Select your profile picture at the top right of Rapaport Trade.
Select Profile. Your profile opens on the Company Profile tab.
Add your company logo
On the Company Profile tab, hover over the logo circle at the top left.
Select Change (the camera icon).
Choose your logo file.
Your new logo shows straight away. It doesn't need approval.
Write your company description
Your description appears under About the Company. It's the best place to tell members what you trade and why they should deal with you.
Select Edit next to About the Company.
In the About the Company box, describe your business.
Select Save Changes.
Tip: Be specific. Say what you stock (shapes, sizes, natural or lab-grown), which grading labs you work with, where your stock is, and how long you've been in business. For example: "Wholesale supplier of GIA-certified rounds and fancy shapes from 0.30 to 5 carats, with stock in Antwerp and New York. In business since 1998."
Complete your company details
The same Edit Company Information window has the rest of your company details. Fill in as much as you can:
Address: your registered business address and shipping address, and which one to show on Rapaport Trade
Phone, website and company video
When your company was founded, company size and primary company type
Social media links
Trade organizations: choose the organization, enter your membership number and select Add
To appear in the Member Directory, tick Display my Profile in The Member Directory Search. Then select Save Changes. Each user also has their own Member Directory setting. See Why Isn't My Profile in the Member Directory?
Set up your personal profile
Your personal profile shows who you are within your company, so members know who they're talking to.
Select the Personal Profile tab.
Add a profile photo using the camera icon on your picture. A clear, professional photo helps members put a face to your messages.
Update your job title, phone and mobile number.
Select Save.
Your first and last name can't be edited here. To change them, contact us.
To change your email address, select Change Email on the Personal Profile tab and follow the steps. You'll get a link at your new address to verify it. The link expires after 24 hours, and you can keep logging in with your old email until the new one is verified.
Good to know
Only the Primary Account Holder can change the company profile.
A new logo shows straight away. Other profile changes, except a new email address, are checked by your Rapaport Trade Account Manager before they go live. This can take 1–2 business days.
Changing your local office address needs a valid, up-to-date business license.
To change your company name or country, contact your Account Manager.
To change the name that appears next to your diamond listings, see My company name is not showing up next to my diamond listings.
To add colleagues to your account, see User Management Basics.
Next step: show your member badge
Once your profile is complete, you can add the Rapaport Trade Member Badge to your own website so customers can see you're a member.
Go to Member Benefits on Rapaport Trade.
Select Learn More.
Download the badge and add it to your website.
