Downloading and Installing Rapaport Trade XL

Log in to Rapaport Trade > Go to Add-ons: From the menu, select Add-ons Rapaport Trade.
Download Rapaport Trade XL
Run the Installer: Once the file is downloaded, run the installer and follow the prompts.
Open Excel: After installation, open Excel, and you should see Rapaport Trade XL in your menu bar.

Operating System: Windows 10 or higher.

Overview of Rapaport Trade XL Sections:

Rapaport Trade XL is divided into four main sections, each designed to enhance your experience and provide powerful tools for managing diamonds, pricing, and inventory.

Rapaport Prices:
- Update Prices: Automatically get the latest Rapaport price list and start calculating diamond prices.
- Rapaport Prices: View the latest Rapaport price list.
- Price Worksheet: Create a new worksheet to calculate prices and discounts for your diamonds. Enter diamond data, and Rapaport Trade XL will auto-populate Rap% % and Rap-Price.
- Price Calculation: Input your $ per carat or $ per total to automatically calculate the other value.
- Compare Prices: Click to compare your prices with the best and average prices on Rapaport Trade for the same diamond category.
Diamond Upload:
- New Stock File: Open the Stock File template to upload your diamond inventory.
- View Buy Requests: Export, view, and filter all live Buy Requests from Rapaport Trade.
- My Stock on Rapaport Trade: Export your existing inventory as a CSV file.
- Upload to Rapaport Trade: Choose from two options:
  - Replace All: Removes lots not included in the upload file.
  - Add and Update: Adds new lots, updates existing ones, and keeps other lots listed on Rapaport Trade.
Rapaport Trade on the Web:
- Use shortcuts for managing your diamond listings, searching for diamonds, and managing files directly on Rapaport Trade.
Advanced Settings:
- Price Settings: Choose default price settings for your calculations.
- Change Price Lists: Select the 5ct or 10ct price list for price calculations in the worksheet.
- Auto RapPrice: Enable this feature to automatically calculate the Rapaport Trade price or Rapaport Trade Discount as you enter or update data in your stock file.
- Click Apply and then OK to save your settings.

Using the 'Compare to Rapaport Trade' Button on Rapaport Trade XL

The Compare to Rapaport Trade button in Rapaport Trade XL allows you to compare your diamond pricing against the default TradeScreen grid, which includes the RapSpec A1, A2, and A3 price categories.

Here's how to use this feature:

Fill out your price worksheet: Start by entering the diamond details into your worksheet.
Click "Compare to Rapaport Trade": Choose to compare your pricing either by $ per carat or by the discount from the Rapaport price list.
Agree to Include the Comparison Columns: When prompted, select the option to include the new comparison columns in your worksheet.
View Your Comparison Results: The tool will compare your diamond prices with both the best and average prices listed on Rapaport Trade, displaying them in both $ per carat and as a discount from the Rapaport price list.
