How to Use Rapaport SellerIQ

A step-by-step guide to spotting growing demand, finding gaps in supply and seeing how buyers engage with each of your diamonds.

Written by Philippa Corrick

Rapaport SellerIQ puts your inventory in the context of real buyer demand. It helps you answer three questions:

  • Are buyers seeing my diamonds?

  • Are they engaging with them?

  • Is demand for these goods rising or falling?

With those answers, pricing and stocking decisions stop being guesswork. This guide walks you through the dashboard. New to SellerIQ? Start with Introduction to Rapaport SellerIQ.

Read the market: Search Trend Insights

Step 1: Open Search Trend Insights

This is the first section you'll see. It ranks every diamond group by buyer search activity, compared with Rapaport Trade inventory and your own stock, split into four tabs: Growing, Slowing, Popular and Low Stock.

Step 2: Find rising demand in Growing

Growing lists the diamond groups where buyer searches are rising fastest compared with the previous period, with the percentage change against the market benchmark.

  • Example: Round, 0.40–0.49 ct, K I1 searches up 13% on the previous 30 days.

  • Change the time period to find groups with even stronger growth, sometimes over 100%.

  • Check your own stock. Where demand is growing and you're light on supply, there's a buying or production opportunity.

Step 3: Check Slowing, Popular and Low Stock

Slowing: Groups where searches are falling. These segments are cooling off.

Popular: The most searched groups overall: what buyers consistently want.

Low Stock: Groups with high search volume but very few diamonds on Rapaport Trade. Strong demand, limited supply.

Read your stones: Diamond-Level Engagement Analytics

Step 4: Open Diamond-Level Engagement Analytics

This section focuses on your own inventory, ranked by attention. For each diamond you list, you can see how many:

  • unique users viewed it

  • searches it appeared in

  • times buyers expanded the listing, saved it or viewed its media

Step 5: Look up a single stone

Search by diamond ID or description to see exactly how one listing is performing.

Step 6: Compare similar diamonds

Put similar stones side by side to see what drives engagement.

Example: One 2 ct round has 4 unique users and 9 searches, while a similar stone gets far more expands and video views. The difference is often presentation, such as better media, so use what's working on one stone to improve the other.

Step 7: Work through every stone

Use the pagination controls at the top or bottom of the table to move between pages. Review every diamond with at least one search so you don't miss stones that need a price change or better media.

Tip: A stone with lots of views but no inquiries is often a pricing question. Check where it sits in Rapaport ListingIQ.

Troubleshooting

  • Numbers haven't changed since yesterday: Data refreshes once every 24 hours.

  • A diamond doesn't appear in the engagement table: It may have had no searches in the time period you've selected. Try a longer period, such as 30D.
