Diamonds with images and a video get more attention from buyers. To keep listings to a high standard, all diamond media must follow these guidelines.
For how to add media, see Upload Diamond Images & Videos.
What your media should show
The diamond as it really is. Media must accurately represent the diamond.
Clear, well-lit, in-focus images and videos.
A neutral, clean background, so the diamond is the focus.
What not to include
Don't show the diamond on:
human models, such as fingers, hands or ears
mannequins, holders, hangers or props
jewelry settings or with any accessories
Don't add:
text on or inside the diamond
borders, text, logos or watermarks
overlays, graphics or promotional elements
File requirements
Up to 5 images and 5 videos per diamond.
Image formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG or GIF.
Minimum image resolution: 1280 x 1280 pixels.
Maximum image file size: 10 MB.
Maximum zip folder size: 500 MB.
File names must be a single word, using Latin (Roman) letters only. Files that don't meet this won't upload.
Links must start with HTTPS. Links starting with HTTP aren't secure and won't show on the item page.
Approved video providers
Videos from these providers play in the media carousel on search results, item pages and Instant Inventory:
Sarine v360
Diacam360.com
Vision360 (v360.in)
YouTube
Vimeo
Cutwise.com
any link ending in .mp4
any link with fr.360view in the URL
If you host your own videos and want them to play on Rapaport Trade, email help@rapaport.com and we'll add your video URL to the approved list.
Good to know: If you upload diamond DNA pages, buyers reach them through the Supplier Link on the expand view or item page. The link opens your website, but the media doesn't show in the Rapaport Trade media carousel.
