Buy Requests let buyers post the diamond they're looking for and get matched with diamonds listed on Rapaport Trade. Sellers are alerted when their listed inventory matches a request, so they can respond to the buyer directly.
How it works
A buyer posts a buy request for the diamond they're looking for and instantly receives a list of matching diamonds available on Rapaport Trade. Newly listed diamonds that match are added to the buy request automatically, and the buyer can also add diamonds to it from the diamond search results.
Sellers are notified when their listed inventory matches a buy request. The notification links to the buy request and the matching inventory, which the seller can filter and select before responding to the buyer.
The buyer reviews each suggestion, rejects any diamonds they don't want, or clicks Send Seller a Message to go ahead with a purchase.

For buyers
Buy Requests save you searching for the same diamond again and again. Rapaport Trade keeps looking for you and lets you know when a match is listed.
Post public, private or anonymous buy requests.
Get notified when listed diamonds match your buy request.
Newly listed diamonds are added to your buy request automatically.
Add diamonds to your buy request from the search results.
Reject diamonds you don't want, and they won't be suggested again.
For sellers
Buy Requests show you what buyers are looking for right now. Rapaport Trade alerts you when your inventory matches a request, and tags your matches on the All Buy Requests page, so you don't need to search for them.
Get an alert when a buy request matches your inventory.
Respond with a message, even if you don't have matching inventory listed on Rapaport Trade.
Filter the All Buy Requests page to see requests that match your inventory, or requests you've already responded to.
Good to know: Buy Request chats aren't in Chats & Trades. Open them from the Buy Requests page.
